  • Jay Dunphy at the Cambie in Nanaimo

Another gig poster. This one’s for the show at the Cambie in Nanaimo. Note the evolution of the logo from the previous version. I accomplished the chrome effect using this method. As always, comments and constructive criticism are welcome.

  • Kings of Chaos

I’ve been playing an online game called Kings of Chaos lately. It’s pretty cool, you build up an army and attack other kingdoms and steal their gold and stuff. Check it out here:

Even if you don’t want to play, please click on the link and then click the number displayed. That will add soldiers to my army.

  • What kind of drunk are you?

Found via J and M. The funniest part is that today I was dressed just like the guy in the picture.

What kind of drunk are you?

    Unconscious Drunk (or Blackout Drunk)

So did you have a good night or what? You don’t remember, because you passed out in the first hour of the evening. Your friends probably left you in the car or let you curl up under the table while they partied.

Short notice, I know. I’m terrible at this advertising stuff.

  • Jesus died! Let’s eat chocolate.

What a sweet weekend, and it isn’t even over. Spent Friday enjoying the sunshine with a good friend. Lunch at White Spot, nine holes at the Henderson pitch ‘n putt, Blizzards at Dairy Queen. Then yesterday and today me and the rest of the band went into the studio to record the bed tracks for our forthcoming album. We started doing overdubs this afternoon, and everything seems to be coming together nicely. Keep your fingers crossed for us.

  • Fun with Google

As a visitor has commented in a previous entry, my site is the first one to come up when you search Google for “satan sonatas”. I also notice I’m on the list when you search for “feel great”. Anyone else get here on an interesting Google search?

Of course, the smart thing to do would be to install one of those programs that analyzes your server logs and tells you where everyone is coming from. One of these days…

  • Ahhhhhh

The band is going into the studio to record this weekend. Should be nervewracking and exciting and boring and fun all at once. Recording usually is.

It is impossibly sunny outside right now. I think I’ll have to go for a walk.
